- Gold coins & bullion
- Platinum & palladium
What does
Cash4Gold-Now buy?
We buy gold of every carat, including 9ct (375), 14ct (585), 18ct (750), 22ct (916) and 24ct (999), and we value it by weight, purity and the live gold price.
Cash4Gold-Now buys a wide range of precious-metal items, including gold jewellery, broken and scrap gold, gold coins, gold bullion, dental gold, platinum and palladium.
White gold and rose gold are also accepted because their value comes from their precious-metal content. Items are professionally assessed before a no-obligation offer is made.
Gold & precious metals we buy
Send the items you no longer
want. We'll assess the metal they contain.
Condition is often less important than precious-metal content, so broken, tangled, worn or incomplete items can still be suitable for valuation.
Gold Jewellery
Chains, necklaces, bracelets, bangles, rings, earrings, pendants and gold watches.
Broken & Scrap Gold
Broken chains, damaged rings, single earrings, tangled necklaces and other unwanted scrap gold.
Gold Coins
Sovereigns, Britannias, Krugerrands, Maple Leafs, American Eagles and other gold coins.
Gold Bullion
Gold bars and other bullion products can be sent for professional assessment.
Dental Gold
Dental gold and other precious-metal dental material can be professionally assessed.
Platinum
Platinum jewellery and other platinum items are accepted for valuation.
Palladium
Palladium jewellery and precious-metal items can be sent alongside gold.
White & Rose Gold
White gold and rose gold are still gold alloys, so we assess them by precious-metal content.
Condition matters less than metal content
Broken, tangled or unworn gold is just as valuable as the rest of your jewellery.
A snapped chain, scratched ring or single earring can still contain the same amount of precious metal as an intact piece. We assess the material itself, not whether the jewellery is fashionable, complete or wearable.
- Broken chains and bracelets
- Single or mismatched earrings
- Damaged or scratched rings
- Tangled or outdated jewellery
- Unhallmarked items can still be tested

Jewellery with gemstones
You can send jewellery that contains stones.
Jewellery containing gemstones can still be sent for valuation. The precious-metal content is assessed separately from non-metal components. Larger diamonds may carry additional value depending on their characteristics, while smaller stones may not add value to the offer.
- Gold valueBased on precious-metal content, purity and weight.
- DiamondsLarger diamonds may be considered separately.
- Other stonesMay not add value to the precious-metal offer.
How value is assessed
Weight, purity and the
precious-metal market price all matter.
Two pieces of jewellery can look very similar but contain very different amounts of gold. That is why our valuation process considers the metal content and weight of the items you send, together with the relevant market price at the time of valuation.
Weight
How much precious-metal material is being assessed.
Purity
The proportion and composition of the precious metal.
Market price
The relevant gold, platinum or palladium LBMA spot price on the day we receive the items.

For items being bought for precious-metal value, condition is generally less important than the amount and purity of the metal they contain.
Cash4Gold-Now's current terms should be checked before sending. Existing website information states that parcels containing less than 10 grams of qualifying precious metals may incur an administration fee if returned.
