Can you transfer the money to my bank account?

Yes, this is how we will transfer you your money unless you ask to be paid in a different way.

By using a Direct (BACS) bank transfer, your payment is transferred straight into your bank account on the day we receive your items for free.

Most UK banks now operate under the ‘Faster Payments System’, meaning that funds reach customer accounts the same day payment is issued.

Can you transfer the money to my bank account?

Our standard process is to transfer money directly into your bank account as this is free and the quickest way to get it to you. But you are welcome to request we send you cash in the post.

This may take a little longer to get to you and there is a £9.00 fee for handling and using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service.

Can you send me a cheque?

Yes, although it isn’t our standard process, you can request that we send you a cheque in the post rather than making a deposit directly into your bank.

Of course, this may take a little longer to get to you. There is also a £9.00 handling and postage fee as your cheque will be sent via the Royal Mail Special Delivery service.

Can you put the money in my PayPal account?

Yes, you can request we transfer your payment directly to your PayPal account.

What if I decide not to sell?

Once you send them to us, your items are valued by expert valuators for free with no obligation.

A senior valuator will be in touch to offer you a great price based on their experienced evaluation. If you decide not to sell any items that we have offered you a price for any reason, they will be returned to you for free.

I think my items are worth more than £750, will they be insured?

If you think you need insurance over £750, you can pay a small additional amount at your Post Office.

Have your parcel insured for £1,000 for £2.28, and insured for £2,500 for £3.90.

Will my items be safe?

The safety and security of your valuables is very important to us.

Your items are protected during transit by our free padded and tamperproof postage envelope. Your free Royal Mail Special Delivery postage means your items are insured and trackable. As your envelope is signed for on delivery, you will know it reached us safely.

Once your items are with us they will be checked and itemised on the valuation form that you filled in with your selling pack. This process is video recorded to enhance security.

Is there a minimum to what I can have valued?

Unfortunately, jewellery amounting to less than 10g and any without significant value won’t be valued. An admin fee of £15 will be charged for the return of your items.

What happens if I send in non-precious metals?

Unfortunately we can only pay you for precious metals. It will cost you £12 to have non-precious metal items returned.

What if my items have gemstones in them?

Most gemstones will not be valuable to us and can be laborious & costly for us to remove, but we will accept items with them in.

If there are any gem stones of sentimental value to that you wish to keep, we suggest removing them prior to sending your items to us as this will speed up the process for you.

Do you accept silver?

We cannot accept silver unless it is sent in with gold. It will carry a £12 fee to return it to you.

Does my jewellery have to be hallmarked?

No, don’t worry. It is not essential that your jewellery is hallmarked as our expert valuers will test it’s purity to assess it accurately.
